All our schools benefit from belonging to a co-operative multi-academy trust based on the co-operative values and ethics. As members of our Co-operative Academy Trust they all have the same trust entitlement, which can be enhanced to meet specific needs.
Through the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Chief Operations Officer (COO), Executive Headteachers, and our Education Advisors, all schools receive regular weekly or half-termly visits designed to be supportive and challenging. The schools also benefit from weekly pupil data support and the co-ordination of curriculum projects including a more able Year 5 enrichment club.
The Osborne Co-operative Academy Trust ICT strategy provides a significant increase in broadband width, the use of a wide area network and is supporting the use of mobile devices in the classroom.
The Behaviour policy has been aligned across the trust and the quality assurance of the Education Welfare Officers (EWO) is co-ordinated centrally. Attendance is improving to above national levels in all our schools.
The “back office” is where most of our efforts are based: co-ordinating finance, HR and Health and Safety to enable schools to focus on and drive improvements in teaching and learning.
